I’m obsessed with leveling the playing field. In 2017, when I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with my life partner, Issey, and centered Golde around the vision that wellness and superfoods ought to be more approachable, inclusive, and (yes) fun. Within a few years of launch, we’d grown a profitable, bootstrapped brand with a full-time team of two to partnerships with Urban Outfitters, Goop, and have since launched at Target.
While building a brand may have looked effortless from the outside, starting a business at age 23 with no resources or funding quickly forced me to realize that early-stage entrepreneurship was anything but transparent. In 2019, I began documenting my experience and learnings via office_hrs, a digital and irl series focused on helping more young people build, launch, and scale their own businesses.
